Sigma Delta Tau abides by the standards and regulations set in place by Rutgers Panhellenic Council. Each spring semester, all women who are interested in joining the Greek community are encouraged to take part in the Formal Recruitment process. However, in the spring semester, freshmen women are presented with this opportunity after meeting a grade point average requirement of 2.5 or higher. Sigma Delta Tau upholds the Panhellenic requirement of a 2.5 GPA minimum and we aspire to obtain even higher GPA standards within our chapter and work in accordance with each other and new members. Sigma Delta Tau has been awarded the Highest GPA for three consecutive semesters in a row amongst Panhellenic Sororities and commits to academic excellence.
Membership Fees
New member dues of Sigma Delta Tau are $650 and are accepted by our Treasurer in installments. The elevated price of new member dues include the price of new member and initiation pins and national initiation fees.
Sister in-house dues are $565.
Sister out-of-house dues are $595.
National Policies
Sigma Delta Tau has a zero hazing, no alcohol policy in accordance with the University, State Law, and our own moral beliefs.
